How to wear BLACK 365 days a year

BLACK, all day, everyday.

Everyone needs a black blazer to finish a look, toss it on any outfit!

My icon, Marc Jacobs

My FAVORITE trick, add a black belt to accentuate your waist and figure!

Wearing different textures and fabrics to give the look more interest, like the photo above: black leather and a matte black blazer combo. Throw on a 'T' underneath and your set.

Black lace overlay, very trendy right now.

Black with print for summer.

Kanye is known for wearing all black, it's one thing we have in common. Very polished.

Black cat suit

Black suiting, keepin' it classy.
Black maxi dress & skirt as seen above or just throw a black cardigan or sweater on. Even expose the under later by rolling up the sleeve like the photo above.

Mix and match: add some color to your black wardrobe.

You can pretty much add black leggings to any outfit.

Rocker chic look. Add chunky metallic jewelry to polish the look.

A fun skirt, tuck in a colored shirt to give a pop of color.

Gotta have a pair of black heels and boots in your closet. Can be added to any outfit and you'll ALWAYS match.

Donna Karan DKNY for HAITI

Donna Karan's Haiti fundraiser! Maybe I'm DKNY in the making! She's a Haiti philanthropist, and so am I! I didn't know we had this in common! Really amazing contribution she made to creating awareness of the devastating situation that still exists in Haiti today! Her efforts are a "three-part" cause: Education, health care and cultural preservation. New found love for her! Remember Haiti <3

Ashton & Demi

Calvin Klein

Bill Clinton who is known for supporting efforts in Haiti. In his speech he talked about global warming and DK's efforts to help Haitian Artists

"This is Zen," Betsey Johnson exclaimed, inhaling deeply, at Donna Karan's Haiti fundraiser and awards ceremony last night—an odd way to describe a bustling charity event, perhaps, but the air in Karan's Urban Zen shop was rich with cinnamon-scented essential oils, not to mention feel-good vibes. When she wants to, Karan can haul in some heavy hitters: Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, Calvin Klein, Michael Douglas, and Sarah Jessica Parker were among those who lent their support to the designer's three-part cause of education, health care, and cultural preservation. In the process, they paid respect to Karan's late husband, Stephan Weiss, in whose memory her Urban Zen Foundation honored Bill Clinton, Dr. Mehmet Oz, and education philanthropist Courtney Ross. As it did at Weiss' funeral ten years ago, the weather added some drama. "That was Stephan," Karan said, visibly moved, upon hearing a thunderclap. "He loved thunderstorms." Later, as the likes of Uma Thurman and Robert De Niro dined on vegetarian sushi and penne pasta, most of the electricity in the room had its source in a certain tall, silver-haired guest up front. In his speech, President Clinton touched on everything from global warming to Karan's heroic efforts to help Haitian artists. "He's my most admired human being on the planet, I think, apart from my husband," Patti Hansen declared, within earshot of Keith Richards. "Before he leaves, he'll connect with everyone in one way or another," predicted Kenneth Cole. The former president did nothing to contradict either one of them, but he did note that he owes some of his success to the suit Karan put him in for his first inauguration. "That was a bigger deal than she let on, because a lot of the political and social elite in American thought I came from the wrong side of the room," Clinton explained. "Once I got Donna's clothes on, I had street cred in Washington." The former president's smart three-piece suit suggested he's dressed to impress ever since.

Spring Cleaning

It's that time of year again! The sun hasn't decided to shine down on us yet, but I was in desperate need of boxing up the winter wardrobe and unveiling the summer lovin's... Of course by adding a few key pieces to my closet... I had to get a little silk blazer, some wedges and of course, a tan!

Let's face it, I have A LOT of clothes.. 2 closets full, not including the boxes, dresser and closet at my mom's house! I think most can agree, it's too hard to let some things go. I think, "that sweater, I'll wear it next winter, for sure..." But it's collected dust over the years. My good friend suggested having a Clothes Exchange Party. Invite a bunch of friends and their unwanted articles and trade! Brilliant idea... just need to find the time to do it! Another girl's trash is someone else's treasure, that's for sure.

More to come..
