Grammy's Fashion 2010 Recap.. The Good, The Bad, and the WTF?

Grammy's Fashion 2010 Recap.. The Good, The Bad, and the WTF?
What Will Be Worn in 2011?

Some beg to differ, but I thought Pink's dress was quite flattering, mostly because I adore her...

This looks like a prom dress from 'Romy & Michelle's Highschool Reunion'. Bad.

There are no words to explain. Classless.

Gotta love the curvy Beyonce'. This dress was on some of the 'Worst' lists, but from a designer stand point, the detail is beautiful.

Oh Britney, why do you do this to yourself :( ???

Rhianna looked stunning in 2010, but this year she has to match her attire to her bright red hair... I'm thinking she will go with an edgy look.

I remember this Katy Perry dress, and I very much disliked it... too much Halloween costume, not enough class. As for Miley, not sure if she will even make it this year due to her recent youtube bloopers...

Taylor & Carrie: Two beautiful women, in beautiful gowns. Need not say more.

This is definitely not a comparison, because there is no competition. Lea Michele's dress is fabulous, I would wear this, but God knows I have an obsession with feathers... As for Snooks, hopefully she will still be filming her new 'scripted', yet somehow reality show with J.wow...

She takes the cake, she's a Goddess, enough said. SO excited to see what masterpiece she will create this year.
Tune in on February 13 for the 53rd Annual Grammy's. Lots of Best & Worst dressed to look forward to!

A fashion wonder of the world... C.Madeleine's

"10,000 square feet of vintage paradise," says Elle magazine....and I had the pleasure of visiting C.Madeleine's, a true fashion wonder of the world. The store is filled with classic vintage, including runway and there was even a couture room, I spent WAY too much money in there! A Chanel room, Nina Ricci, Dior, Louis.. you name it, and it's there. According to Vogue magazine, it is, "Miami's best kept secret." This is true, Calvin Klein's crew happened to be in the store the same time I was, rummaging through 1970's shoes to collect inspiration for their 2013 accessories line. If you ever get the opportunity to visit Miami, C.Madeleine's is a must!

For the love of Accessories: At Paris’ Haute Joaillerie Day

Dior: Who could ask for more...
Chez Dior Joaillerie, the setting,
too, is a gem.

I got a similar pair for Christmas from Manhatten...

Chanel: Enough said.
After her lover Boy Capel’s death, Coco Chanel traveled to Venice for a change of scene. The trip to the great port city opened the door to a new love story—one with exotic cultures (and their jewelry), from Istanbul to Russia and points East. Chanel’s haute jewelers channeled the visit with a colorful array of rubies, emeralds, and pink sapphires worked into an articulated necklace for the Mosaique suite and the Persian cuff (pictured).

Van Cleef & Arpels The original Zip—the brainchild of the Duchess of Windsor, who sketched out an idea for a platinum and diamond necklace in 1938—took 12 years to create.
Boucheron
Creatures both mythical and real join the signature Adam snake in the Boucheron bestiary, among them Pegasus, a dragon, gazelles, pandas, swans and a one-of-a-kind Aurelia Auriata jellyfish with a body in carved rose quartz.

Quote of the day..

Today, I was driving, listening to Taylor Swift Radio on Pandora. She is always a pick me up when I need one. She is my inspiration for my quote of the day:

"Well you drive me crazy half the time, the other half I'm only trying to let you know that what I feel is true...& I'm only me when I'm with you..."
